We want to thank Bill so much for helping us celebrate our wedding. I can't begin
to express how much everyone has been raving about our truly talented DJ. He
created an environment that everyone could let loose and have a great
time! We've been told over and over again how amazing our DJ was and how
much he brought the party to life and maintained everyone's enthusiasm
throughout the night. Our friends and family were also impressed by
how his music selection appealed to people of all ages and everyone
felt comfortable dancing to the music played. We just want to thank Bill for
doing such a fantastic job. Not once did we have a single doubt, but

After our original wedding in North Carolina was cancelled by Hurricane Irene, Choice Entertainment and DJ Eric Cunningham was willing and ready to help us out and DJ our replacement wedding at the Westin Richmond on incredibly short notice (24 hours!). Eric Cunningham was wonderful; the reception was a ton of fun and he accommodated all our music requests! The reception was a party like we had hoped and we were so glad people were dancing and having a great time the whole time! Choice Entertainment couldn't have been nicer in helping us out and Eric was wonderful! Thank you Choice Entertainment!

Dwayne at Choice did such a fantastic job. He was completely professional and never pushy throughout the reception. He was polite and had great manners. Choice entertainment is an extremely organized company and I felt good knowing I was going through such a professional organization. THey gave us a planning sheet that we filled out to lay out the evening schedule with the associated music. It was incredibly helpful.

Bill Gilliam provided our wedding ceremony music and DJ services at the reception. He is a big part of why our wedding was PERFECT. I chose Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" to walk down the aisle to, and the timing for when the bridesmaids enter, then when I, the bride, would walk down the aisle, was very tricky. Bill made it work perfectly, ready to make any adjustments at a moment's notice. Bill had great input and ideas for making our day personal and intimate for all guests, not just another cookie-cutter wedding. He is so easy to work with, and got EVERYONE on the dance floor.

We had DJ Mike Beene for our wedding reception through Choice Entertainment and he was absolutely AMAZING!! He helped us come up with ideas to make our reception fun and unique. Because of Mike, everything ran so smoothly from beginning to end. Everyone had so much fun that we had him stay for an extra hour! We got many compliments from the guests about Mike and will definitely be using him for all of our future DJ’ing needs :)

Bill Gilliam with Choice Entertainment made our wedding day fantastic! We met him at a Meet the DJ Night sponsored by Choice Entertainment, and we got to hear samples of about 8 or 9 DJs from Choice Entertainment. We knew that Bill would be the best fit for our wedding because of his ability to be fun yet professional. Bill ended up providing the music for our ceremony and reception. We knew that he did a fantastic job with receptions because we had seen him in action at another wedding. But when we met with him 2 weeks before the wedding, he was able to recommend the most perfect music for our ceremony. We wanted something different, yet classic. He made the perfect suggestions. We would recommend Bill and Choice Entertainment for any event, especially weddings!

Choice Entertainment is the best. Our DJ was Bill Gilliam and he was wonderful. He knew the songs to play and everything went like clockwork. He would anticipate what to play and he was always willing to take requests. We thoroughly enjoyed working with him. He was fantastic. I hired Bill to do my wedding reception in Raleigh and he was absolutely fabulous throughout the whole process and made the evening so much fun! Our guests had a blast and we danced until they kicked us out of the room! He was so great to work with and very responsive to our last minute requests. I would recommend him to anyone, great job Bill!!

I can't say enough good things about Choice Entertainment and their owner, Bill Gilliam. My husband and I went to a "Meet the DJ Night" at the Marriott on West Broad Street that was hosted by Choice Entertainment. Choice Entertainment probably has about 15-20 DJs and they put on a "mock wedding" and showcased how their DJs presented themselves in a real wedding setting. Bill stood out to us right away as one of the best – little did we know he was actually the owner! Bill met with us for over 2 hours a few weeks before the wedding to get everything straight in terms of his emcee-ing responsibilities and what kind of music we wanted played. On our wedding day, he couldn't have done a better job! Everyone was commenting on how great the music was and some people even asked if they could get the playlist he played! He was a great emcee as well and very professional. I would recommend him and Choice Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ!

We went to one of Choice's "Meet the DJ Nights" and found Steve Mueller. He was awesome! Professional and laid back, but outgoing enough to interact with the crowd in a very positive way. We had a large group going through a buffet line, and he did a SUPER job of entertaining those at the table until it was their turn! He also was great with working with us to layout the flow of the evening just like we wanted - and ensure the music was our choice as well. I would highly recommend Steve, and Choice Entertainment!

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Our DJ, Bill, is as personable as he is professional. He organized each event and song well before the wedding. As the wedding came closer, things came up and the schedule needed to be adjusted. But instead of being frazzled by the changes, it was like he knew they were coming and seamlessly adjusted.
In addition he was so funny and helpful with all of our song choices. Choice Entertainment is worth every penny!

We used Mike Beene- as our DJ of choice based on the mock -wedding we attended put on by Choice Entertainment. He was really personable and upbeat and responded well to the crowd and requests. He played music during the cocktail hour and also DJ'd our wedding. During our initial meeting he offered his professional opinion regarding what would work best regarding our order of events- and wedding entrance. He worked well with the vendors (ex- photographer, wedding coordinator). He played a variety of music and the music wasn't too loud.

We booked Alan Boyle for our reception, and he was the professional that we knew he would be. He played all of the songs that we requested. He managed to incorporate our favorite artists. He played songs that we loved but would never have thought to select. Throughout the evening, guests -- younger ones and not-as-young ones -- remarked, "This music is great!" He kept everyone dancing -- we had a blast and so did our guests. I think that he truly distinguished himself from other DJs in that his presence went largely unnoticed throughout the evening, and we mean that in the best possible way: he did not have to speak very often, because his preparation and musical selections spoke for him. We are so happy that we chose him.
