I was lucky enough to have BOTH Dave and Daniel photograph my wedding! They were absolutely amazing!!! Macee was too, of course! I am so incredibly pleased with all of the photographs and our album! They managed to capture every aspect and every emotion and presented everything so beautifully! Not only were they extremely professional, but anything I asked for or needed, they were able to make happen! Our wedding was absolutely amazing and we definitely have DM FOTO to thank for capturing it all so that we can look back and remember how wonderful it was! If you are looking for a FABULOUS photographer… definitely use DM FOTO!!! They were so worth every penny and after seeing other photographers work; I know I would not have been pleased had I used anyone else!

Everyone at DMFoto was very professional and a pleasure to work with. They walked us through the entire process, making sure we understood everything along the way. Dave did a great job at the wedding- especially with calming my nerves about the crazy weather! I know rain on a wedding day is good luck but it really stressed me because of my outdoor wedding. One of the ladies who worked for dmfoto had the doppler radar on her iphone and showed how the rain would pass quickly and we would just be delayed about 15 min- talked about being prepared! You and your team were so nice, professional and really helped everything flow smoothly. You knew where to get some of the best shots at our venue, which made for a quick transition so our guests did not have to wait forever at the cocktail hour. Our album turned out fantastic thanks to Daniel- everyone I show it to is soooo impressed!!! I especially loved the creative shots with our rings. We absolutely love the pictures and working with the whole team. I know it can be a challenge working with clients that are out of the area but you all were very accomodating. I know I'll be looking back at these pictures for the rest of my life and be glad I made the decision to go with DMFoto!! :o)

I was referred to DMfoto last May by a colleague at work when my daughter got engaged. My colleague was newly married and showed me all her photos by DMfoto. I knew after viewing these that DMfoto was at the top of our list for photographers. At our first meeting Dave & Daniel made us feel at ease & they addressed all our concerns. We were impressed with the quality & creativity of their photos. This past weekend was my daughter's wedding. If it were not for Dave's calming demeanor and attention to weather radar I don't think we would of had our outdoor garden ceremony. He was our knight in shining armor that crazy afternoon. Dave and Macee flew out to Utah to shoot our wedding a few weeks ago. I've known Dave for a long time, have watched his work develop, trusted him, and above anything else, couldn't imagine anyone else taking my wedding photography! From the beginning, he was helpful in answering my questions about the services and contract, was always quick to respond, and even helped me with recommendations and ideas for other aspects of our wedding (layout, timing, flowers, etc). On my bridal portrait shoot, I truly felt like a princess - we took so many great shots in tons of different locations - and I was beyond pleased with the photos. On our wedding day, I felt so comfortable with both Dave and Macee and really appreciated their attention to detail and their help with making sure everything happened smoothly at the ceremony and reception. It was so much fun to take photos with them, my bridal party and family all loved and respected them, and the professionalism was top notch. I just got my proofs, and the pictures are amazing!! I have so many great shots to choose from, I won't even know where to start. And best of all, I feel like their shots really captured our personalities and they caught so many great moments on camera without us even knowing they were photographing. They were not in our faces at the reception, but managed to catch every moment of it brilliantly!! All of my friends and family have been amazed and so impressed by their creativity and skill. You only have one chance at wedding photography, and these guys really know what they are doing and do a sensational job. I truly believe this is one area where you get what you pay for, and I feel our value for what we spent on Dave's package was tremendous. I just got done with looking at all of our pictures, and I still can't believe just how beautiful they are. Dave and Daniel Marks (as well as the rest of their staff, we had Elise working with us too, and she was awesome) are incredibly talented. Our photographs are wonderful and worth every last penny. I couldn't recommend them more--they are professional, their work is exquisite, they are so nice and easy to work with, they love weddings and they are VERY easy to get in touch with. Daniel came to the rehearsal and really helped all of us scatterbrains out, he was very reassuring. Their work is priceless, and I definitely think the cost is reasonable for the services and product you receive. And Daniel really worked so hard to create such beautiful photos for us. I can't think of a single negative about them, they're just fantastic!

We had such a wonderful experience with dmfoto- I recommend them to everyone. We had a great engagement session with Dave at Maymont park...we have a framed photo from this session in our dining room now. Daniel did my bridal portraits and it was a lot of fun and they turned out great. During the wedding though, dmfoto was truly invaluable. Not only did they take the phenomenal photos they are known for, but they helped make sure everything ran smoothly all day. They are on the ball and always know what needs to be done and where they need to be. Our album is gorgeous and my friends and family are still gushing about the photos. Thank you dmfoto!

They brought a team of photographers, suggested amazing shots but still got all the traditional ones in. We drove around the city for two hours in the limo and they followed every step, even suggesting places to go. They had a great time at the reception and everyone is blown away by the pictures. They are quick, creative and professional. Great team!

Photography was very important to me on my wedding day. I had a wedding of over 325 people and I did not want to miss a thing. I found Dave Marks through a friend and when I looked at his pictures and told him my idea's I knew he was my guy. He could picture the exact things I was saying and as I was them he was pulling out pictures he had taken in the past and show me them. When we did our engagement pictures we took a whole day and Dave spent time with Sumeeth and I caputing the moment. When I did my bridal pictures, Dave spent time with me to make sure they where just perfect. I had a special place I wanted to take pictures and Dave made it happen. The day of the wedding he took more pictures than I knew and they turned out great! I could not have asked for a better photographer.

Dave was amazing! He paid attention to detail, lighting, people, even events surrounding the wedding - he was wonderful! He brought 2 assistants with him so we got many angles of the same activity, he took photos as the hair salon and at the makeup studio. Not your typical cheasy photographer at all, he is a very down-to-earth gentlman.

Dave Marks name was given to me by Lori at Celebrations at the Reservoir. If you go to Dave Marks website his pictures speak for themselves. Mr Marks, is as laid back as you want him to be or, if you need guidance, will take charge to make sure your pictures are perfect. He was flexible with us, for our engangement pictures we wanted to include our two little girls, which he had no problem with. He had us do fun things like slide down a slide as a family, swing on a sing as a couple, or just walk through the fall leaves on the ground. The engagment and bridal sessions were fun and relaxing. During the wedding, him and his two assistants, never missed a thing....they were right there with us, even on the dance floor. I would not have wanted it any other way! The wedding album we were given is top quality, could not have asked for more! And the pictures in the album are breathtaking! We will be using him in the future for family photos!

Dave and Daniel are wonderful and their work is beautiful. I was so happy with our wedding pictures (and our engagement session, too!). Daniel was the photographer for our wedding and he captured everything so well. I would definitely recommend them to any bride!

I got married in May 2010. We met with 7 different photographers around Richmond to see what they had to offer. I LOVED dmfoto photography, but thought they were too expensive for our budget. After meeting with both Dave and Daniel, we rearranged our figures. They were able to match what the competitors were offering AND give us more for our money. They provided 3 photographers on the wedding day, which came in extremely handy. They were around to capture every moment from every angle. They were incredibly flexible and easy to work with. When selecting a photographer, it's important that you get along with them. You start to see them more AFTER your wedding! We have had several meetings to discuss album designs and to pick up the bridal portrait. They are always friendly and ready to accommodate anything you ask for. Not to mention their INCREDIBLE photography. Out of the 7 photographers we interviewed, none matched the quality and creativity of dmfoto. We loved their photojournalistic style and the way they can capture something even the eyes can't. I was amazed at how they captured the emotion of the day. Looking back through the photos, it becomes so real that I feel that emotion again. I would recommended dmfoto to anyone who asks because they were that amazing!

I hired dmfoto for only a 2 hour timeframe due to my limited budget and they did an outstanding job!! The photos that I chose to make prints of were developed in a superior quality finish and looked stunning! They took fabulous shots! The only thing I wish I had considered was to ask them to take 1 hour of staged photos and the rest unposed so we could enjoy even more candid shots and time with our friends and family.

I used dmfoto for my wedding, and got two of their photographers (one main photographer, and one assistant). If I had any advice to give a bride, it would be to get 2 photographers if pictures are important to you. Having both there really allowed for more candid shots, which I love (you miss some of those moments in the craziness of the day). Dmfoto was very professional and easy to have around. You didn't really notice that they were there, yet when you turned around it was great to see that they were capturing the night. The pictures turned out beautifully - especially those of the reception. I wasn't a huge fan of the "arty" posed shots - they just didn't seem genuine - but overall I loved the pictures. My husband and I heavily customized our photography package - which is possible, even if the photographer doesn't come right out and say it. Dmfoto was great to work with in helping us get just what we wanted for the day, without paying for things that we wouldn't want/use. Though a little pricey, it was a good value since we had 2 photographers for the entire event.
