Rutsen, the photgrapher, is also one of a kind, and I say that in a very POSITVIE light! It's so refreshing to have someone be as passionate about what they do, and to place that passion into your wedding to create that special "something that I am sure each wedding evokes. When I look at the pictures, I feel like I am right there in that very setting and the emotion is very real. He's creative, flexible, very professional, and will work within reason to do whatever it is that you want him to do. I was floored at how much time he spent with the bride and groom the day of, and so the day was truly captured from day to night. You will NOT be disappointed at his product and the value added to his fees in quite extroidinary. ENJOY working with Rutsen and his staff! You won't be sorry

Rutsen is very professional and friendly. I have been to many weddings where the photographer was intrusive and the pictures mundane. Not so with Rutsen. He's also an artist. He's very relaxed and does exactly what you asked. You won't be disappointed. And the memories of your wedding are what you have left after the blur of the evening!

I was VERY focused on the photography for our wedding. It was more important to me than even The Dress! I like a more creative look with artistic flare. For me, the photography is the only tangible thing you have after the wedding to relive all the memories. Everyone says the wedding will go by so fast, which is absolutely true - even when stretching it over four days at a resort! My then fiancé did not see the value in taking photographers with us for a destination wedding, especially when the resort offered photographers in our package. I was emphatic that we must take our own photographers, as there was no way I could trust a resort photographer to capture our Big Day. And thank goodness we did!
Rutsen Eagle is an artistic master! It was his creative eye that drew us to him in the first place. Then his personality wins you over & his technical expertise backs it up. He & his team captured the essense of the place & of course, all our big moments. Do be warned that they are focused on the overall art of the shot, and less focused on your facial expressions - so when they're shooting, be ready all the time!
Our wedding was in Mexico & intentionally only a small group of close family & friends. We now definitely consider Rutsen & his team friends. They fit in with our guests perfectly & made everyone comfortable. We have so many great images to go though, it's difficult to narrow it down for the albums.
I do recommend carving out as much time as you possibly can to 'let the master work.' We were very focused on spending time with our guests & if there's anything I would change, I would have spent more time shooting with Rut. With our wedding being on 11/11/11 & in a resort area (Nuevo Vallarta), our officiants had 11 (ironic but true) weddings that day so they were about a half an hour late for our ceremony - which threw off our timing & means that we lost a lot more sunlight than planned. Rut, being the pro that he is, had all of his light stands ready to go so we could still get great post-ceremony group shots & portrait shots. Looking back, I should have gotten ready earlier in the day to get time for more pre-ceremony photos. Regardless, our images are beautiful! I'm just addicted now & wish we had even more!
We also had Rut do a video for us & it turned out amazing! Personal & beautiful! Captured the essence of our entire experience!
Thank you, Rut & Team!!! Keep in touch - you're part of...

Eagle Eye Photography did an amazing job with our wedding, engagement and bridal portraits. Rutsen is the ultimate professional, and has a unique eye for detail and finding the perfect shot. We chose Rutsen, not only because the cost of his service is reasonable and competitive, but also because he showed great enthusiasm for wanting to know us as a couple and making our vision reality. We could not be happier with our pictures and plan to make Eagle Eye an essential part of special events to come.

We could not be more happy that we went with Eagle Eye for our photographer!!! Aside from getting my husband to actually smile in our pictures, Rutsen and Jenny truly added to the fun the entire night. Our friends and family loved them and we would have enjoyed having them there whether they were taking pictures or not! And most importantly, our pictures turned out phenomenal! The night went by so fast, but thankfully Eagle Eye was able to capture the memories!

To put it simply Rutsen was Amazing! To put it a little less simply...let me start at the beginning....First Rutsen took time out of his own anniversary to meet with my wife and I because it was the only day we had open. From the first meeting it was clear he is passionate about his job and is all about making his clients dreams come true on their wedding day. Rutsen was available day and night through the planning process as we came up with photo ideas and new ways to make our wedding what we had always wanted. As the big weekend arrived Rutsen made himself available to shoot our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner and the party that night. He then spent the night with us so he could be there to shoot the whole day of the wedding. He did a masterful job of splitting his time between the two halves of the bridal party and was always there to lend his experience or a calming word at just the right moment. He not only took all the pictures we thought we wanted but so many more that only he and his incredible artistic Eye could have captured. He stayed with us all night, constantly lending a helping hand, and even provided a ride for one of our friends to the airport very early the next morning! Honestly by the end of the weekend it felt more like he was part of the family then our photographer. He made everyone feel comfortable and put the whole wedding at ease with his skill, easy going nature, and sense of humor. Every guest and family member at the wedding commented on how impressed they were with Rutsen. We have a few friends and family getting married soon and have highly recommended Rutsen and Eagle Eye Photography to them. Looking back we didn't just have a photographer...we met a friend, and someone we look forward to having be a part of our special moments for years to come.

We were very lucky to get Rutsen from Eagle Eye Photography for our wedding. We asked alot of him, and he went even further. Our location was an Island in Mexico, and on the day he was supposed to fly out, his flight was cancelled. Instead of calling me (who was completely stressed anyway) he and his assistant drove 3 hours to another airport and made sure they were there in time for the rehearsal dinner. They were self sufficient, on time and took amazing photos. More than that, my guests loved them. It was such a great value for the price, we completely lucked out.
After the wedding and honeymoon, I was a little burned out on all things wedding related, so I waited several months to view my photos. Rutsen understood and extended the time I had to view and choose photos for my album, despite being incredibly busy and in the middle of "Wedding Season." I would highly recommend Eagle Eye Photography for any occasion, because of the quality, professionalism and how simple he made it for us.
