I can not thank you enough for the way you made me look for my wedding day! The make-up was perfect and you totally nailed the hairstyle I wanted. And the tattoo cover was AMAZING!! People who didn't know about it before were shocked to learn there was a BLACK tattoo hiding on my shoulder. I was worried the tattoo would distract from my dress, but thanks to your skill it got the attention it deserved. My maid of honor was very happy with her make-up, also. She doesn't wear make-up often and she was worried about not looking like herself. When I asked her how she felt about it she said it was great. She said she felt comfortable and not over-done, and the experience was much less painful than with whoever did her make-up when her brother got married, haha. I can not wait for an occasion to use your services again and will recommend you to every one!

Joy is a fabulous hair and make up artist. She really works magic on you. She knows what she is doing and you can tell that she loves it. She is very pleasant to be around. Working with Joy was a wonderful experience. My daughter's hair and makeup looked beautiful and flawless for her portrait and her wedding day. Joy created exactly the picture that my daughter had in mind. Even after dancing the night away at the reception, her hair and makeup looked fresh and pretty. Joy was a pleasure to work with! She was very accomodating with my schedule for our consultation, and she was great on the day of the wedding too. She came early, toting several suitcases of makeup and hair supplies, and got hair and makeup done for my whole wedding party without a single hiccup. Joyce was great working on hair too, and I couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience.

To put it bluntly, God gave Joy the talent of makeup!!! Among other things... a caring heart, patience, and enthusiasm. Three days before my wedding my mother accidently broke her nose. Yes, for real broker her nose. Last minute around midnight the evening of the incident I was balling my eyes out writing and pleading to her to see if she could help us. The next morning way before the normal time people get up, she had already replied. She sure was our saving grace... If you are looking for someone who is not only talented but genuine, Joy is your lady!!!

A rating of "5" does not do Faces by Joy justice. On a scale of 1 to 10, she is one million! "Joy" fits her because that is exactly what she is to work with. Professional, sweet, down to earth and amazing at what she does. I was nervous as I do not wear make-up outside of lipstick and eyeliner on a regular basis. Never had professional make-up done, so I was not sure what to expect but knew I was in great hands. When I looked in the mirror I was BLOWN AWAY! She enhanced what was already there and took it to another level. She has a great eye and talent for make-up application. I could not stop staring at myself in the mirror and did not want to wash the make-up off. I was constantly receiving compliments (and still now with the pictures I have) on how great I looked and I owe it all to Joy. I promise if you book with Faces by Joy, she will NOT disappoint. I cannot wait to work with her again!
