Brad of Shaking Hands Production was perfect! When I initially booked him, he walked me through all the aspects of videography/cinematography to make my wedding day perfect. He's laid back, funny, and worked well with my photographer. I've seen almost all of his samples and wedding video highlights and I can't wait to see him. He was definitely worth the investment!

There are not enough beautiful words in the dictionary to describe the quality of Brad's work. I just received my trailer from him yesterday and I have looked at it no less than 50 times. I am absolutely blown away by his gift of transforming weddings into something even more extraordinary than they seemed that day. Almost everyone that has viewed the trailer was left teary-eyed. I spent a lot of time looking for the right cinematographer and my search took me (via the internet) to FL, GA, PA, NY, DC, MD, and VA. My friends would describe me as extremely particular and hard to please. I could not be more thrilled with my selection of Brad. All brides put a lot of trust in the cinematographer and photographer because that's all you have left after your special day is over. Brad was definitely deserving of my trust and even more. From the very moment I inquired about his services through the web form I knew that I would have a positive experience with him. He responded to me within hours with a quote and a very professional proposal. Everytime I reached out to him he responded just as swiftly and professionally. This was so helpful in planning a wedding with a lot of moving parts. Now let's talk about his offerings. He was a great value for the quality of his product. He has package pricing with a la carte offerings so you only get what you need. My wedding was in DC and even with paying for his travel and accommodations, he was still much more affordable than the 2 leading cinematographers in DC that I was considering. Plus I was able to get 2 cinematographers within my budget. Next up…flexibility. As I mentioned before I am very particular and have strong opinions about what I want. Brad was very easy to work with in this regard, was open to my suggestions, and found ways to make me happy within what he knew would work best artistically. That is what I would call Brad, not a videographer but a cinematic artist/genius. Now to his creativity… I really wanted a non-traditional wedding video. I wanted it to be very unique, dramatic, and stand out from anything I'd ever seen. Brad definitely delivered because many of my friends have said the trailer is the coolest thing they've ever seen and it left them anticipating the full length version. How many wedding videos have you seen that bored you to pieces? This will be far from one of those. I mean it's like you're watching a movie in a fabulous theater. Last strength was invisibility. By that I mean he and his colleague captured beautiful moments without ever interrupting the moments. Many people never even knew we had someone shooting the wedding because he was that skilled at remaining in the background. I could go on and on about Brad's talent and personality but I will just say that choosing him to capture your special day will be one of the best decisions you could ever make. I can say with no hesitation that it was one of the best decisions I made. I wish Brad nothing but the most success possible because the quality of his work is truly first class.

In terms of quality and detail, Brad captured our every special moment with enlivened, beautiful clarity. We opted for some super 8 footage to be included, and we love the incomparable vintage, nostalgic quality it gave to our video! This is key, since I would be quite happy to spend the rest of my days cuddled up on the couch and watching this video (with a glass of bubbly in hand, of course). Now for the practical stuff: with regards to professionalism and communication, we were truly impressed by Brad's consistently swift correspondence. Brad's company was the only vendor we hired from out-of-state, and he was certainly one of the most considerate and dependable. Our emails and phone calls were always returned within 24 hours, and any justifiably manic bride knows how much appreciated that sort of punctuality is! Brad worked patiently with us as we sent him countless examples of what we liked in wedding videos, and 'matched' the descriptions and ideas we sent him with specific examples from his own portfolio. We knew we were in good hands when we saw the time and effort he had gone to in order to assure us that our vision would be fully realized! He worked hard to ease the planning process and was a very knowledgeable and experienced resource to turn to for wedding help and advice. On the wedding day itself, he was discreet and very cooperative while still capturing every detail. Our whole family has shared in our delight with our wedding video, and we cannot wait to give copies of our wedding DVD to our parents as memorable gifts. I love my wedding trailer and full wedding video that was done by Shaking Hands Productions so much. I can't even count how many times I've watched both videos. When I watch them, I feel all the emotions I felt that day and watching them over and over again make me so happy. When I watched the videos, I didn't even realize some of those shots were taken. The editing and songs were perfect. When I watch the videos, I just can't believe it's my wedding that I'm watching. The final video and wedding trailer totally exceeded my expectations and I am so happy Shaking Hands captured one of the most important and happiest days of my life.

The team member who shot our wedding footage was incredibly professional and was able to film without being intrusive. Brad Benett and his team at shaking hands productions were such a great asset to our special day.We are above and beyond happy with everything they did and created. We have such an amazing lasting memory thanks to them. They were professional,insightful,generous,patient and completely bought into our vision of the day and made it our own.We definately didnt want conventional so they totally adapted to us and what we wanted, and looking at their archive of footage, this is their forte. No boring,static,typical and obvious wedding video..of course unless thats what you want! But every wedding and couple are unique and they ensure that they represent your love and events individuality. They captured every key moment and some moments we didnt expect but ones that added such sensitivity and added emotion to the day.So many creative moments and angles and really great and unique use of editing and music. It was wonderful to watch and relive the moments, we will be watching it for many years to come with both tears and laughter and true contentment. We just got our wedding video back from Shaking Hands Productions, and we LOVE it! We did tons of research before selecting Brad Bennett as our wedding videographer, and the final product even exceeded our expectations. A lot of the other video samples we saw from other videography companies were just raw footage of the entire wedding start to finish without any interesting or artistic edits. We chose Brad because his video style is much more artistic and personalized, and he edits the whole day down into a watchable, enjoyable, beautiful summary of about 45 minutes so all our friends and family will actually want to watch it! Brad listened to all of our suggestions and requests - from the music to the style to the parts of the wedding we wanted to highlight - and he always got back to us right away over phone or email which made it a very collaborative process. Brad had never seen our wedding or reception location before, and we had never actually met in person, and yet he captured everything in such a personalized way. Throughout the entire day, Brad and his assistant were unobtrusive and almost invisible, and yet they managed to capture all the big (and small!) moments up close. We particularly appreciated how Brad was able to film the ceremony from the back of the church, as we hate when the photographers and videographers get in the way of a ceremony, and he got great quality footage through his HD zoom and by putting a lapel microphone on the groom. We opted for a mix of HD and Super8 footage, which gave the video a really timeless, classic effect. We could go on and on, but the bottom line is we are absolutely delighted with Shaking Hands Productions - both the experience and the product - and will recommend them to all our friends in the future!

We were very happy with our choice for videographer. Brad at Shaking Hands Productions captured the vivaciousness, little details, and intimacy we desired our guests to experience at our wedding. They were very thorough and really listened making sure they knew the exact moments that we most wanted to record. But they also went above and beyond by capturing the funny, special candid moments. We had our wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and reception recorded by Brad and we could not be more happy with the result. He sent us several copies of our DVD in personalized packaging that looks great in our DVD collection. I was married in November 2009. Shaking Hands productions did an AMAZING job in capturing all the important moments of my wedding, before during and after. I will forever cherish the video of my wedding. I have shown so many people the video. I love it...it has all the important moments, but all the fluff that usually makes a wedding video too long was left out. I HIGHLY recommend using Shaking hands Productions.
