There isn't enough space to send out kudos to this wonderful company. They were extremely professional, yet were warm & friendly to all the guests, helping any who felt a little to shy to get started. The entire wedding party was excited to have them at the reception. Their "little trunk of surprises" sure added to the festivities & made things more fun! Well worth the investment - make room for them in the budget. Awesome time!!!!

Boardwalk Photo was AMAZING!! Shawn was great to work with, very responsive and communicative. Shawn worked with me to make a custom logo for our photobooth/photo strip to coordinate with our colors and feel of the wedding, which turned out so awesome! Boardwalk traveled to our Richmond, VA wedding with no problem. It was THE HIT of the wedding! So many people said it was the most fun wedding they had been to and in the same breath raved about the photo booth. Everyone had the best time with the prop trunk (some even made it out onto the dance floor) and our two booth attendants were so helpful and friendly. The guestbook is such an awesome keepsake of our day. Our guests were also able to take home their photo strips, which they loved-- and can download them for free online! Boardwalk was so awesome to work with---highly, highly recommend!

Boardwalk photo booth was extremely easy to work with. After months of having to go back and forth with people for all kinds of other wedding services, boardwalk was a breath of fresh air. They always responded quickly to our emails or calls (even outside of business hours). We got a lot for the price and now have a really wonderful photo book that we will cherish forever. The Boardwalk Photobooth Company truely delivered for our wedding. Shawn Cox and his amazing team made the wedding a complete success. Our guests had an absolute blast in the booth. The scrapbook they make for you, on scene may I add, was a truly special touch for my husband and I. We really enjoyed seeing all the guests' photos and they wrote us a special message in the book. We contacted Boardwalk Photo Booth Company just weeks before our wedding after seeing a photo booth at a friends wedding. I thought it would be fun for my young nephews and in the end we would just get a DVD with all of the pictures on it. Well this company far exceeded my expectation from the very beginning! Shawn, the owner, was very friendly and easy to get in touch with. The photo booth was personalized with our names, and the trunk of dress up accessories seemed endless! Our 130 guests absolutely loved the photo booth from the five young nephews to the older grandparents. There were people lined up to get in there all night long. There were 2 assistants, Carolyn and Jamie who stood to the side and would cut the pictures as they printed so that our guests would take a strip home as a souvenir, and then the other strip would get glued into our scrapbook that Carolyn and Jamie created for us throughout the night. Guests also wrote messages for us in the book next to their pictures. We had a completed scrapbook in our hands as we left the ceremony that night. We have been looking through it ever since. This was such a great idea and I really recommend it! Not only are our pictures all posted online where our guests can print the pictures in whatever size they want, but we also get a DVD. One of the brightest spots in planning our daughter’s November 4, 2011 wedding reception at the Virginia Beach Contemporary Art Center was working with Shawn Cox, owner of The Boardwalk Photo Booth Company. From start to finish, he made us feel like we were the “only game in town.” That personal touch was priceless, but only part of what made the experience so positive and valuable. Shawn was gracious throughout the process, always available and responsive, knowledgeable and professional, brought order to the millions of details floating around in our heads, and offered reasonable, all-inclusive prices (take-home memory book for instant fun, personalized photo strips that matched our theme and colors perfectly, DVD of photos, online access, etc., etc.) Easy to see when we toured his local showroom, the quality of his equipment and product was far superior to anything we had checked out online or in the area. Set up and break down went seamlessly at the reception. And our guests LOVED having limitless access to the photo booth and all the zany props throughout the evening. EVERYONE said it was the most fun they’d ever had at a wedding—thanks in no small part to Shawn’s congeniality. We couldn’t have asked for more and highly recommend making room in your wedding budget for Shawn’s services. It was worth every penny and then some. It’s not often that you can recommend a wedding vendor without reservation, but in this case we ONLY have wonderful things to say. In fact, we spread the word every chance we get. We hired The Boardwalk Photo Booth Company to bring out a photo booth to our wedding and boy was that an awesome, fun-filled decision! First, Shawn was amazing to work with. He frequently emailed me throughout the entire year we were on contract with him, just to check in and/or make sure the logistics of bringing a photo booth into an Outer Banks rental beach house would work out. A week before the wedding, he created a logo for our wedding photo strips (Halloween-themed) and a custom creepy sign for outside the photo booth that were just awesome! Then, he upgraded our photo paper to a larger size at no extra charge just because he happened to have some stock leftover to burn up...way cool! The photo booth services came with a prop trunk filled with really fun, wacky stuff and a guest book that people were able to put their photos in and sign instead of a traditional guest book. After the wedding, the photos became available to everyone through a password protected web-site and a DVD will be mailed to me in a couple of weeks containing all the photo strips and the individual photos in high resolution. This whole entire package came at a very reasonable price (even more reasonable because our wedding was on a Thursday instead of a weekend) and the service was exceptional. There are not enough good things I can say about Boardwalk Photo Booth Company. Our guests are STILL raving at how much fun that photo booth was and what a clever idea it was! If you want a photo booth at your special event and are located anywhere from the Outer Banks to Washington D.C., you HAVE to go with these guys...you will NOT be disappointed!

Shawn is amazing and he makes sure to take good care of you! I couldn't have asked for a better vendor to work with. The Boardwalk Photo Booth Company is hands down the best in VA. Not only are their prices reasonable but the quality of the pictures are top notch! We even went in to make a photo booth sign that would be on the booth at the wedding for NO ADDITIONAL cost (free time in the booth and pre-wedding keepsakes for my hubby & I). Shawn listened to exactly what I wanted and made it happen! I will definitely use them for future events and will recommend them to all my friends & family!

I was battling who to go with for my photo booth company. I was debating between Shutterbooth or Boardwalk Photo Booth. I ended up deciding on Boardwalk Photo Booth because I liked the look of the actual booth better than the booth from the other company. I worked with Sean from the beginning. I booked him about a year and a half in advance (we had a long engagement) and he e-mailed me frequently to check- in. Additionally, he was willing to meet me at my reception site to be sure all of the logistics were set. The photo booth truly made my wedding.The booth looked great at our venue. All of my wedding guests were thrilled and tickled by the props that were set out for them. I also ended up ordering the photo book or guest book and the staff pleasantly arranged all of the pictures of our guests in the book. We now have memories to look back at for years to come. I could not be happier with this company and I'm hoping to have another event in the future where I can book their services again!

Sean and Team were amazing. We always knew that we wanted a photobooth at our wedding, but had no idea how amazing it would be. I highly recommend this company to anyone hosting an event. Everyone loved it! Grandma even went in there with props! Worth every penny!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Shawn and Carolyn and the Boardwalk Photobooth team! Shawn was an absolute dream to work with from beginning to end and was very responsive whenever I had questions. Our guests had an unbelievable time using the photobooth at our wedding and the props were definitely a hit! We had several guests complement the photobooth after the wedding- and my husband's great aunt even wrote us a thank you note for having the booth, saying it reminded her of the booths on the boardwalk when she was younger, and that she will forever treasure her photostrip from our wedding! We were very impressed with the quality of the booth (REAL booth, not just a curtain!), photostrips, custom logo and scrapbook. Shawn even worked with us to customize the strips and logo so they would fit in the acrylic frames we purchased as favors and he created a custom insert for the front of our scrapbook, which we purchased ahead of time. He really went above and beyond to make our experience absolutely perfect. The booth staff at our wedding was friendly and professional and we are so extremely happy with our experience. I have not a single complaint about Boardwalk Photobooth- they are the best!! We also used Carolyn as our day-of-coordinator (Signature Weddings by Carolyn Stark) and she was an absolute godsend...I would have been a basketcase without her! Thank you Carolyn and Shawn for giving us an experience we will never forget!

The photo booth was a huge hit, people were in it all night having a blast taking pictures. The best quality vintage style photo strips I've seen. Responded to all of my questions promptly and worked hard on every detail from the logo on the booth to the logo on the photos and even details in the scrapbook. This was worth every penny and I hope to have some sort of event where I can work with Boardwalk again. Fantastic!

The Boardwalk Photo Booth Company was an amazing hit at my daughter’s wedding September 3, 2011….guests are still talking about it!!! Our daughter had always wanted a photo booth for her wedding, but as the expenses began to add up she had marked it off the list. Her father and I decided that it would be a great surprise for her and her fiancé. The Boardwalk Photo Booth Company came recommended from a sorority sister of our youngest daughter. Shawn was wonderful to work with. He was quick to respond to email and phone calls and had many helpful suggestions. The sign that he designed was perfect. The email reminders were comforting - it was one less thing to worry about! He even drove five hours to the venue after disaster of Hurricane Irene. To say that this company is reliable would be an understatement! The day of the wedding, he was extremely professional and at the same time very personable. Many guests commented on how friendly he was. My daughter and her husband absolutely LOVED the scrapbook. The prop box was a riot. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we will CERTAINLY be using them again!!!!

I can't even begin to describe how fun it was to have Boardwalk Photo Booth at our wedding! OK I will admit it, I was overly obsessed with researching all possibilities when it came to selecting a photo booth company for my wedding. My wedding was at The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA aka the middle of nowhere, so I was thrilled when Boardwalk Photo Booth Company agreed to travel there for my wedding. They are hands down the best photo booth company! They personalized every little detail; the photo booth, the prop trunk, the photo strips, and last but not least the scrapbook. It was so great to share our scrapbook with all of our guest the morning after the wedding. We immediately sent out the link so all of our friends/family could download the full resolution pics from the photo booth. That week everyone with a facebook account had changed their profile picture to one from the photo booth. Not only was the photo booth great, but Sean and Carolyn are the BEST. Very friendly and easy to work with! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

If you are looking for a photobooth you are crazy to go with anyone else. Boardwalk is just as into your wedding is you are. Everytime I emailed or called I felt like the only bride in the world. I could not have asked for a better company!

Working with Boardwalk Photo Booth was hands down one of the easiest decisions I made when planning my wedding. Shawn was a dream to work with. He was quick to respond to my emails, providing me with great information and confidence. A month before my wedding he sent a friendly reminder to let me know that they were thinking about me and remembered me. I didnt feel like a date in the date book, I felt like a valued customer. About a week before, Shawn sent me a picture of what my photo strips will have on it, and also what my sign on the booth looks like. My guest had a BLAST playing in the prop box, being goofy, and taking home their pictures. I love being able to see all of the pictures online, and being able to save them onto my computer. Everything was seamless and they were very responsive to all my emails and calls- which I found, was rare when working with wedding/event vendors. I was 100% confident in their capabilities and service and their staff was really fun too! I definitely recommend doing a photo booth at your wedding and using Boardwalk photo booth company. The pictures turned out great and were awesome take-aways for our friends/family.

Working with Boardwalk Photo Booth Co was an amazing experience. They were professional, dependable and provided a fabulous service. Their fee is really reasonable. Not only did we have a gorgeous vintage photo booth but the scrap book was awesome, the CD with all proofs was a bonus and the props were plentiful. I was thankful for their patience as my little cousins attempted to take over the booth. I received many compliments through out the evening and to this day. You will not work with more genuine individuals. I would use them again in a heart beat!!!

We were on a limited budget when planning our daughter's wedding, which took place on Aug. 7, 2011. I was amazed at the cost of EVERYTHING! We had attended a wedding which used a photobooth, not the same company. I knew if we could squeeze this in to our budget, we had to do it! After several e-mails to different companies, this one stuck out, not for their "lower" price, because they weren't, but for there care and courtesy. They were available for our date and offered us a very fair price. This was one of the best decisions we made. Boardwalk Photobooth was very professional, the booth itself was very vintage looking and eye catching and they had props to go along with it. Our guests had so much fun dressing up and stepping in to the booth to act like something other than themselves. Even some folks who would not normally take part in things like this, were drawn in to the hilarity of it all. Thank-you Boardwalk for a wedding reception "well done." We are definitely "very satisfied" customers and will refer you to everyone!
